F.R. Mowill (Norwegian) – Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Fredrik Mowill worked as Partner in a Nordic venture capital firm investing in high technology growth companies before joining OPRA. Mr. Mowill was previously a management consultant with A.T. Kearney working within the energy and manufacturing sectors. Mr. Mowill has worked on a range of projects within gas turbine engineering, business development and finance. Fredrik Mowill received an Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wales Cardiff and subsequently received an MBA at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Graduate School of Business.

C.E. Bartel (Canadian) – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Before joining Opra, Colin Bartel worked in the Strategy and Business Development departments of the Dutch multinational Akzo Nobel, where he has been responsible for corporate venturing, spin-off divestments and innovation projects. Prior to that, Mr. Bartel worked as a Partner in a Nordic venture capital firm investing in high technology growth companies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Bartel was a management consultant with Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and a business unit controller with Clariant AG. Mr. Bartel received a BSc from Queens University, Canada and has an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Graduate School of Business.
