R.J. Mowill (Norwegian) – Executive Chairman

Mr. Mowill has over 40 years experience in the management, development, manufacture and marketing of industrial gas turbines. Mr. Mowill holds a number of gas turbine related patents. Mr. Mowill has extensive experience with international establishment and cooperation.  As the founder of the Norwegian gas turbine industry he is the recipient of the Royal Norwegian Science Council Honorary Prize. Mr. Mowill received a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, USA.

H. Mowill (Japanese) – Deputy Chairman

Mrs. Mowill is the co-founder of OPRA. Mrs. Mowill graduated from Fuji University, Sapporo, in Japan in 1968 and spent the early part of her career in the International Division of a major airline. Mrs. Mowill was subsequently engaged in the Norwegian education system. For the last 20 years Mrs. Mowill has been working in the gas turbine industry, both before and during her role in OPRA Turbines in the Netherlands.

H.C. Lous (Norwegian) – Director

Mr. Lous has 35 years of experience with application engineering, development, international sales and marketing and general Management, mainly within the gas turbine industry. During this period Mr. Lous has held several positions in management both in Kongsberg Våpenfabrikk, Kongsberg Dresser Power, Kvaerner Energy AS and GE Energy (Norway) AS. Mr. Lous has expatriate experience from Europe, USA and the Middle East. Presently Mr. Lous is Regional Sales Manager, North Europe, with GE Oil & Gas. Mr. Lous holds a M.Sc. Degree in mechanical engineering from France and an MBA from INSEAD

H. van der Kooij (Dutch) – Director

Ms Van der Kooij is general counsel and company secretary for Royal Wessanen NV, a leading company in the European organic food market with head offices in the Netherlands and with a listing on Euronext Amsterdam. Ms Van der Kooij previously worked in the maritime and international trade section at the law firm Trenité Van Doorne in Rotterdam (now Simmons & Simmons) and as general counsel and company secretary at Corporate Express NV. She has a Dutch law degree from the University of Utrecht and an MBA from the Universities of Nyenrode (Netherlands) and Rochester (US).

P.M. Bardsgjerde (Norwegian) – Director

Mr. Bårdsgjerde has over 25 years experience in corporate finance and banking and currently works as an independent investor and board member. Prior to that, Mr. Bårdsgjerde was employed as a Partner at ABG Sundal Collier ASA and has held various positions in investment management earlier in his career. Mr. Bårdsgjerde has a Masters degree with a specialization in Finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration (NHH).
